Ask Alice

Hello TDDD readers! Remember our third thing we can do for you [scroll to the bottom]? Well, we are having this little column three times a month. Once at the beginning of a month, in middle, and at the end. This March, the first time will be from the 1st to the 10th. The second time will be on the 11th to the 20th. The third will be on the 21st to the 29th.

Now this "Alice" person can possibly be Jen, or Eep or someone else. So ask your questions to us through the comments and we will post them up with our answers/advice. Or if your questions you want them not be known, you can always email them to us on thedailydingdongs@hotmail.com. We won't tell just anyone:)

Rules of "Ask Alice'':

  1. You must always put a nickname to keep yourself private and confidential.
  2. You must not ask us ridiculous, disgusting questions like how the pathetic teenage girls ask in Cleo and Seventeen.
  3. Please do not have any bad words or the questions will not be answered or posted - they will just be deleted.
  4. Please write in proper English or if TDDD does not understand your question, it will not be answered.
  5. Please protect yourself or anyone in the questions with nicknames [e.g, Pooping Pig, Flying Donkey, Chicken Potato] or your comments will just be deleted.
Thanks guys and just ask away!

AMANDAAAHH!!

these questions are from our dear readerss :)

answered by her dadd.

who does she like more, mom or dad?

she probably likes mom more cause i let her cry a little longer when she's hungry. except for changing diapers.

is she allowed to have a tattoo?

she'd be allowed at 18, cause she can do whatever she wants when she's 18. I actually got her a kung-fu panda tattoo, but no one let me put it.

at what age is she allowed to date?

12.

write down on our chatterbox whatever questions you would like to ask.

xx,
TDDD

CLC - CLGC

So since many of our readers have been complaining that we TDDD have not updated our blog at all for quite a long time. And we don't blame you. It's The DAILY Ding Dongs for crying out loud. We're supposed to be like the CLGC Ryan Seacrest and Guiliana Rancic on E! News. So right now, we are going to post a post about CLGC and how it has changed since the very beginning.

Here from CLGC's very own website, [www.clgcpj.org] on the "History" part it says:-

The church started with a handful of believers in 1985. The first Sunday service was held on January 13 at the reception area of a doctor's clinic at the Taman Tun Dr. Ismail town centre. From there, the church moved to several locations in Petaling Jaya. We have had services at Section 13, SS2, Hilton Hotel, NPC Hotel and the former Widuri Pine Club in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail.

Isn't that cool?? We TDDD are so happy we settled here at Kompleks Kemajuan in Section 19. Although parking is sometimes a trouble with RM3 to park inside, we have to agree that our present church's place is absolutely fine.

Then and Now:
We don't think we can remember the other places at the hotels and clubs as we'd have been young so we shall just say what we can. The leather sofas used to be across the carpeted floor from the entrance/exit of CLGC, right at the end. Junior Church was at the other end at the right. The information counter used to be where the sofas are now and the auditorium doors used to be in front of them. The walls used to be a boring light blue and the church's name used to be CLC [Just Christian Life Center].
We remember last time when we were younger [Eep was like.. sixish and Jen was eightish], Friday night's FNS was always in the auditorium and before the night services started, we would have Sunday school. Well, actually.. more like Friday Night school. We'd sit on the red or green or yellow plastic chairs [Which I think we'll break if we sit on right now;P] and do activities on the wooden blue IKEA tables.

The REAL Sunday schools used to be different too. The kids were arranged in their classes from age to age. 3 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 11, 11 to 12. Probably something like that. We'd do again the activity papers on the long tables you now see used for camp registrations and stuff outside the auditorium.
Haha, we'd bring our notebooks and pencil cases with mechanical pencils inside in our bags and sit down and listen to the teacher talk and talk and draw on the white board. The classes used to be pretty boring, in other words.

Church camps:
One of the church camps Eep remembers is this place with wooden houses around. There was grass all over and we'd all sit in this big "cafeteria" and munch on toast and eggs and Eep would drink her usual hot Milo. And sometimes, during some of the church camps, Eep would sleepover in Jen's room in the hotel. That was boring too because Eep was always sleepy and went straight to sleep every time. Oh my gosh, we practically cannot wait for 09's church camp!!! Yippee!! Weeeeeeeeee!!!

Youth:
Hahahahahahaha. Desmond and Zech and Sian I and Sian Huey and Jude and Caryna and Chloe and Joshua and all the other loons were the youth and they'd go to the youth camps and leave us young losers at church:( hahas. Ooh, and sometimes Jen and Jenna would grow old enough to go to their very first kid's camp and Eep [who was still tiny tiny tiny] would sadly look at them leave with their bags and stuff. :( :( :( :(

Now can you believe it that Sian I and the other people are young adults and we are slowly growing to becoming the youth?! And very soon we'll be just like them.

love,
TDDD

PS: Eep wishes we never have to grow and we can just be young and energetic and not be oooold with work and money and car petrol.
